County Birders unite! Anyone can join -- simply commit to birding all 58 California counties in your lifetime. All participants' maps and totals are listed on
the County Birders page. Additionally, you will have access to a downloadable spreadsheet with county totals for all participating birders (coming soon). The
color-coded maps are a great way to track your progress -- the main thing is to have fun with it!
Be sure to check out our individual County groups for Humboldt, Trinity, and Modoc counties. The Humboldt 400 club includes birders with 400 (or more) species
on their Humboldt County bird lists, while Trinity 200 and Modoc 200 participants list 200 (or more) each. Read the details of each participant's birding history in the county, including county records, favorite bird finds, and memories of their time in Humboldt, Trinity, and Modoc. Most of all, enjoy and participate in county
birders' camaraderie and friendly competition.
